We hope you will be able to join us for our future meetings.
Our next coffee morning in Chesterfield will be on Tuesday 21st November 2017 at the Parish Centre, Church Way, Chesterfield S40 1XJ which is a short walk from the “Crooked Spire” accessed by taking the pathway in the grounds of the Crooked Spire.
The Coffee morning will take place from 10.30am – 12.30pm and we have invited Steve Flinders. Those who joined us in Newark will have met Steve and his curiosity box. This time Steve will be talking about Catherine Crompton’s Diary.
“In 1865 Catherine married a member of one of Derbyshire’s wealthiest families. From 1867 to 1897 she kept a diary. Was there more to the story than first meets the eye?” Steve is entertaining and engaging and so I am sure you will find this meeting interesting. We have our own DAST Journals to give away and our Funding Development Worker has been researching about journalling and so can give some hints and tips about writing for therapy.
Light refreshments will be served. We will then visit the Crooked Spire and the beautiful Festival of Christmas Trees where DAST will have a Christmas Tree.
I look forward to you joining us.
